"Loop-Tack" initial adhesion
according to FINAT FTM 9
The Quick-Stick test plate enables testing of the initial adhesion according to FINAT FTM 9. Initial adhesion or initial adhesive strength is the force that an adhesive tape exerts when it is first stuck on. In addition, it can be measured how quickly a bond is formed when the adhesive first comes into contact with the surface to be bonded.
The roller peeling device and the associated support pins are inserted into the corresponding threaded holes in the sample table and screwed tight. The test plate is inserted with the sample facing downwards between the roller peeling device and the support pins, with the free end of the sample being pulled through the roller gap. The free end is then attached to the sample triangle.
